Editorial Standards
Accuracy before persuasion
We check changing claims against primary sources such as retailer product pages, published policies, recognised grading organisations, UK government guidance and assay-office information. Each article records when important sources were accessed.
No invented testing
We label hands-on inspection, desk research, retailer information, customer feedback and editorial inference separately. We never imply that an item was purchased, worn, measured or professionally tested when it was not.
Visible limitations
A useful recommendation explains plating, durability, sizing, maintenance, returns, warranty and buyer-fit limitations beside the positive case. Commission does not remove a material drawback.
Corrections and updates
Prices, availability and policies change. Readers can send a source-backed correction through the contact page. Material corrections and recommendation changes should update the article date and explanation.
